The Gander Loop runs from Gander north to Gander Bay, then east along the Straight Shore through outport communities like Carmanville, Musgrave Harbour and Lumsden, before turning south through Bonavista Bay's shore towns and reconnecting with the Trans-Canada Highway at Gambo. Locally it's known as the Kittiwake Coast, and the whole route sits within about an hour of Gander.
