Notre Dame Bay is a large inlet on Newfoundland's northeast coast; its southern reach adjoins the Bay of Exploits. The shore communities — Norris Arm, Campbellton, Comfort Cove-Newstead, Laurenceton, Baytona, Embree and Wings Point — sit along sheltered saltwater between Lewisporte and Gander.
It's a boating, salmon- and trout-fishing region with an easy drive to the Trans-Canada Highway and to Gander's airport, hospital and services. Lewisporte, a busy commercial port and a centre for bluefin-tuna sportfishing, sits on the western side of the bay.
