Kayla Tulk didn't find real estate by accident. She arrived at Turner Realty as a co-op student — and never really left.
Placed here for a work term while completing her Office Administration diploma at Keyin College, Kayla was hired before the term was finished. She spent two years learning the business from the inside out, then earned her real estate licence in April 2024 — because she wanted to be on the other side of the transaction: handing people their keys.
How She Works
That path matters. Most agents learn the paperwork after they're licensed. Kayla learned it first. She knows how a deal moves through the office, what can slow it down, and how to keep it on track — which is exactly why clients describe working with her as smooth and stress-free, often saying the process was easier than they ever imagined.
Her clients are mostly first-time buyers — people who don't know where to start and need someone who will walk them through every step without making them feel like they're asking too many questions. Kayla's answer to that is simple: there are no bad questions, and she's available whenever they come up. That means evenings, weekends, and the moments in between. If a client has a question about something that isn't strictly real estate, she'll help with that too.

From Aspen Cove to Gander
Kayla grew up in Aspen Cove on the northeast coast of the island and moved to Gander after graduating high school. She knows what it's like to arrive somewhere new and build a life here — and she's watched this community become home in a way she didn't expect.
What she tells newcomers: people here are genuinely friendly, the convenience of Gander surprises most people, and the outdoor activities and events give the region a quality of life that's hard to find at this price point.
