Thinking about a career in real estate? It's more achievable than you might think — and you don't have to figure it out alone. Here's exactly how to get your licence in NL, what it costs, and how Royal LePage Turner Realty helps you get there.
In Newfoundland & Labrador, your salesperson licence has to be sponsored by a licensed brokerage — you can't activate it on your own. That's exactly where we come in: pass the course and we sponsor your licence, train you, and put real buyer and seller leads in front of you from day one.
Here's the whole journey, start to finish. We're with you from step three on.
Fundamentals of Real Estate, the salesperson pre-licensing course from the NL Association of REALTORS®. Self-paced and fully online — finish on your own schedule.
A 100-question exam (70% to pass), taken online or in person. Your first attempt is included in the course.
Your licence must be authorized by a licensed broker — so you join a brokerage before you can practise.
This is where we come inApply through Service NL (Financial Services Regulation Division) and pay your licensing fees. We help you through the paperwork.
Onboarding, training, mentorship, and leads from day one. You're officially in business — with a team behind you.
We believe in no surprises. Here's a realistic picture of the up-front investment to get licensed in NL. Figures are approximate and follow the standard salesperson path — we'll confirm the current amounts with you.

Getting your licence is step one. Building a career is the real goal — and that's where the right brokerage changes everything.
You can't activate your licence without a brokerage. Pass the course and we authorize your licence with Service NL — no scrambling to find a sponsor.
We generate more buyer and seller leads than our agents can handle — so you're not starting from zero or cold-calling your way to a first deal.
